My Soul Mate Poppets

OK, here they are, such they are. :-) Tried to keep the guy poppet as indescript as possible, hence the happy face drawn on with the marker. Cute, aren't I? lol! Love that 'do. I'm not much of a poppet designer, but they are filled with magickal intent.

The poppets contain:

Vervain for pure intentions
Rose for romance
Holly for joy
Mandrake ('nuff said)
Periwinkle to enhance the magick and bring about the changes necessary in both of our lives in order that we may be drawn together
Mistletoe for powerful love, rebirth
Orris root for drawing and keeping love
Patchouli for a lusty sex life
Jasmine flowers for spiritual love
A lock of my hair in the poppet that represents me, as well as a drop of my blood on her/my forehead

You can't see the symbols I drew on very well -- a couple of arrows and my astrological symbols. You also can't see the spiders I used to represent our fate/karmic connection. They are clear plastic and I bound them on the poppet with hemp string.

During the course of the spell, I wrapped hemp string around them as I drew them closer together over the course of three nights. That's a rose quartz and they are in the cauldron with the athame, the athame upright in the cauldron being a symbol of the Great Rite. I should have tucked them away already, but leaving them in the cauldron felt like powerful magick. So there they stay for now.
